I am so thankful for the opportunity to create an Autumn card quartet thanks to the All About Autumn Designer Series Paper.
Sometimes we look forward to the changing of seasons and sometimes it just jumps in front of us. This year it seems so have just jumped in front of me before I was done with summer. I must say I’m quite thankful for Stampin’ Up!’s All About Autumn 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper as well as the Cheers to the Season stamp set to help glide me into the season.
.
This gorgeous 6″ x 6″ All About Autumn Designer Series Paper is so beautiful that it has sold out twice already and currently won’t be available until the week of October 9th. That doesn’t quite or necessarily mean ON October 9th.
All About Autumn DSPClick on the All About Autumn image above to see a much larger view. The reverse of most of the “autumn-y” photo sheets are metallic patterns. I’ll be highlighting a reverse side card in a few days.
I’m excited to say that each class participant at my semi-monthly class at our Avimor Community Center will be creating on of today’s four cards. I can’t say that any scene is THE winner in my humble eye! They’re all quite stunning in their own way.
I can smell these leaves as well as hear them crunching beneath my feet as I walk down the street or through the forest—in about a month. The photo below is exactly what they make me want to do. What a beautiful memory!
It’s really a treat when a package of DSP can offer the ability to use the same card layout multiple times with multiple backgrounds and yet allow each one to stand on its own. As I said above, my Community Center class will be making this variety of cards — only one per person — tomorrow afternoon. I’ll share our second card in a few days.
Although these cards are sort of totally the same their vibe is totally different. Such a fun opportunity. When this paper comes available the week of October 9th a resupply will be on my order for sure. How about you? Will you be ordering some of this designer paper? If you’re overwhelmed or not certain just what to order, send me a text and I’ll be more than happy to help you out.
Tomorrow I’ll post a quick how-to for this card which is one of the easiest I’ve made in a long time.
Thank you so much for popping in today. Please leave a comment below if you’re looking for a specific project or technique. And don’t forget to make a card and then make someone’s day by sending it to them.
