Are you new to stamping and crafting? Do you have a young person in your life who you’d like to introduce to crafting? Do you have a young person coming to visit and you’re not sure how to fill in the hours? Do you want to make some simple cards that you can put together quickly?
Well…..just add scissors and adhesive and you’re good to go with this Oh Happy Day Card Kit.
Included are 13 photopolymer stamps, 20 card bases and coordinating envelopes, a Basic Black Archival Stampin’ Spot (1″ x 1″ cube stamp pad) and all kinds of pieces for embellishing your cards which range from 3″ x 3″ to 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″.
All of the cards are bright and cheerful and would ‘make’ anyone’s day. What an easy way to make twenty people happy when you share your hand crafted greeting with them.
You won’t have to do a bunch of cutting and measuring and searching for coordinating decorative pieces for ‘fluffing’ your cards. There’s an instruction booklet that shows each finished card as well as which pieces go with each card. There are three sheets of punch-able bits and each one is numbered, indicating which card it goes with. My suggestion, based on another kit I worked with last year, is to separate all the punch outs and other embellishments and place them with their card bases. Then start putting your cards together.
I’m planning on pulling my kit out over President’s Birthday Weekend while my grandkids (8, 10, 12) are here and see what we come up with. Photos of the process will be shared! My plan for pulling out the kit is because I won’t be letting them play on their devices for hours on end just because they’re at Oma’s house! I might even un-bury another kit or two for them to work on. It’ll be fun together time.
