The Life is Beautiful stamp set was featured at our Community Center Stamping with Blythe time this past Thursday.
These cards are examples of simple stamping at its best. They are intended for post-holiday card sending. Can you just feel the chill of winter. ….Winter in the northern hemisphere where snow and chilly air is more likely!
- Whisper White Thick card base (8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″)
- Basic Gray Layer (3-3/4″ x 5″)
- Whisper White stamped layer (3-5/8″ x 4-7/8″)
- Basic Gray tree
- Balmy Blue ice or snow around the base of the trunk
- Shiny Rhinestone ‘ice’ in the branches
- Sparkling lone red rhinestone ornament hanging from a branch
This was our second card. Same stamp set with a different vibe.
- Seaside Spray (or Balmy Blue) card front (8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″)
- Whisper White* stamped layer (4″ x 5-1/4″)
- Tear right long edge toward you, about 1/2-3/4″ from the edge
- Feels Like Frost 6″ x 6″ DSP (designer series paper) 1-1/2″ x 5-1/4″
- Smoky Slate tree
- Seaside Spray (or Balmy Blue) snow flakes not reinked until stamped 3 times
- Smoky Slate greeting ‘flag’, (1″ x 3″)
- Greeting stamped using Misty Moonlight ink
- 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots (Misty Moonlight) next to greeting
This final card is a variation on the first card, substituting a bird house for the little red ornament. All that’s lacking is the greeting.
It was rather fun to create two lovely simple cards at our Community Center without toting a ton of supplies. Here’s what we needed:

I have yet to add the sentiments to two of the cards but the ‘hello’ was from the Life is Beautiful stamp set. There are two more greeting options: Thinking of You and Life is Beautiful. Simple stamping at its best.
Since we are nearing the end of the fun August-December 2020 Holiday Mini Catalog, this very versatile Life is Beautiful stamp set is on the retiring list and won’t be available after January 4th — or while supplies last. I’m still looking forward to using my set for spring stamping with pink blossoms on the trees. I also used these stamps for this lovely autumn card. It’s definitely a four-season stamp set!!! I suggest getting it while you can if it interests you.
