I have been wanting to use this Just Kidding stamp set (from around 2015!) for ages and finally figured out how I could use it and still be sharing current products. I paired the Just Kidding (old) Stamp Set with Designer Papers (new) that are current! The main character (we’ll call her Sassy Sally) in the stamp set is a sassy gal and she shares equally sassy comments.
I’ve chosen to pair Miss Sally with the Perfectly Penciled and Delicate Desert designers series papers.

You can use any stamp set and any colored card stock or Designer Series Paper to create a card like these. Let your good humor be the decision maker on what to use.
Creating the “Template” for the DSP Layer
I cut a 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ of scrap paper for starters to create the odd shaped DSP layer. I set it over the folded card front, tilted it at an angle; then held it securely to the card front and flipped the card over. Then…..I traced a line, where the scrap paper overhangs the card base, along the top and one side. Cut that shape out and use it as a cutting template for your DSP or whatever color layer. Attach the layer with Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Seal.
Stamp Sassy Sally (or image of your choice) on a piece of scrap Basic White card stock, color the image and then fussy cut it. Attach it to the card front using Dimensionals.
Stamp your greeting and add a few (like 3–an ‘odd’ number) pieces of ‘bling’. (Above)
This is the Perfectly Penciled Designer Series Paper, polka dots and stripes and flowers. Unfortunately (I just checked) this DSP is no longer available. It’s the ending of a catalog year and as items are depleted they’re not restocked.
I’d love to see what you come up with using this layout with the angled piece of DSP or colored card stock. Many stamp sets could be used. I challenge you to have a go at it and share your finished card on my FB page.
Thank you so much for popping in today. Please leave a comment below if you’re looking for a specific project or technique and I’ll do my best to help you out.
LOVE it! Sure wish I had purchased that stamp…..
