This past weekend, when I was working on my swap cards I had this happen to me:
I tried two different clear blocks just in case. Now trust me, I do know how to ink up a stamp and it just wasn’t working. So I took the photo above and sent it on to Demonstrator Services, the trusty department at Stampin’ Up! that helps demonstrators and customers alike when there is a problem. ds@stampinup.net
I sent this note to DS:
Subject: Problem with Flower Patch stamp set
As I was working on my swap cards and ready to stamp and die cut the flower, this is the image I got. With two different size clear blocks. I’m not a novice so …. Have I done something wrong? I’ll move in to another flower so I can get this done today but I’ll still look forward to your response. No I haven’t tried any other images from the Flower Patch set yet.
Thanks as always,
And this morning I got this response:
Hello Blythe,
Happy Stampin’ Up! New Year!
I hope all is well in the heart of the Motherlode!!
We apologize for the issue with your stamp set…..as we look at the images, our thought is that the stamp itself may be defective. I have created order correction xxxxxxxx and am sending you a new Flower Patch Stamp set…..Let’s see if that does the trick. You do not need to return anything.
Thanks for all you do!
I ask you now……….. Wouldn’t that just get your day off to a great start? It sure has mine.
Here’s the awesome Flower Patch stamp set—that has my favorite accessory: Flower Fair Framelits Dies!
Check them out on pages 154-156 of the new 2014-2015 Annual Catalog.
And now I really have to get to work, finishing up my last 40 swap cards and attaching labels, placing an order and doing some housework. Sigh……..
Thanks for stopping by again and I’ll see you tomorrow.
