Today’s card is very personal. It’s for my daughter and her family who just had to say farewell to their 13 year old Molly. They got the ever-licking-your-hand Molly just before they bought a new home and brought home a new baby, the now 12-1/2 year old Austin. Molly has been the sweetest, most loving dog and she will be missed by all who knew her. And her tail wagged upon seeing you to the very end.
Not having a Stampin’ Up! ‘loss of dog’ stamp set, this is what I did:

As you can see, my printer was working as it usually does, sub-standard. But it’s Molly and that’s what counts.
The card is a very simple 5″ x 7″, with the center removed*, using my Stampin’ Up! Trimmer, for Molly’s photo. The thinking of you sentiment came from the Sheltering Tree stamp set. I added a little 2016-2018 In Color (Sweet Sugarplum Enamel Shapes heart for our little girl.
I found the perfect inside greeting on Pinterest and reformatted it for Molly’s card.
I used the largest Layering Ovals Framelits to die cut the two layers.
I chose the Sahara Sand and Sweet Sugarplum colors because Molly is a girl and her coloring is close the the Sahara Sand color.
Now she and her big ‘brother’ Reggie are once again romping in the grass, chasing each other and having a great pain free time.
*Check back tomorrow for the ‘how-to’ on removing that center rectangle using your SU! Trimmer. This is just one perk of such a cool tool!
