One of my favorite current stamp sets is Welcoming Window. I love the European countryside look to the images. Then add the accompanying Window Flower Box dies and you’ve got lovely, fun and creative possibilities galore. This card reminds me of a Swiss village scene, strolling down the street with the rough facade of the houses plus the window boxes and all the flowers.
I chose Misty Moonlight for the window panes and shutters because it’s one of my favorite Stampin’ Up! colors.
And I chose the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder for the ‘exterior’ of the country home because it just looked natural. Run a 5-1/4″ x 4″ Very Vanilla layer of card stock through the Cut & Emboss machine and attach it to the card front (8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″) using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Then I added a few flower pots for the window sill and ledge.
After adding the Happy Anniversary greeting (A Wish for Everything stamp set + All Dressed Up Dies label), complete with the little Midnight Muse In- Color Square Gem(s) I realized a little ‘something’ was missing. But what? The answer for me was the necessity for a little greenery coming down from the upper reaches of the building. I die cut a piece of Garden Green foliage using the Meadow Dies, trimming the piece (that looks like parsley) to the edges of the card layer.
All die cut pieces were attached to the card front using Dimensionals — except the greenery in the upper right and the pot and succulent on the window sill.
