Yesterday was World Card Making Day and I was ready to start ‘making’ cards. The 3-hour class ran from 2-4:30 p.m. Mountain Time. With registration we received an information sheet with cutting instructions for the three cards that were presented. I managed to have all three of the stamp sets that were being used on hand.
Three Stamp Sets for Today’s World Card Making
With the exception of the Watercolor Paper, I’ve cut out my card stock per the cutting instruction sheet that’s on the sign up pages. The stamp sets and card stock colors are ‘suggestions’. I had NO IDEA what the finished cards would look like except that I was sure they’d be quite simple.

This card had to have some background stamping so this is the quick and easy solution I turned to. And then I got some ink on my fingers and plopped it on the Warm Hello greeting. Since this card is only a prototype I opted not to remake it!
Next, Earthen Textures
Since I didn’t have the Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper I just used Basic White card stock for my prototype finished card. It worked pretty well.
