I thought I’d try using some retired black and white Designer Series Paper to create another look at Bubbles & Bubbly. Yes, the paper is retired but I’ll bet I’m not the only one who has some of it (Petal Passion) left. Actually, I liked it so much that I still have an unopened pack ready to use as use as I finish the bits and pieces in my original pack.

Here are a few tips for this card:
- When using the Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends (I love blends!) I colored the entire tub with the Light Blends marker and then highlighted around the right edges and third of the tub. It still look ‘chunky’. So, with my Light Calypso Coral Blends I stroked horizontal lines all the way across the tub, from top to bottom and voila! The colors blended.
- Yes, there was a lot of fussy cutting but it was well worth the effort when I was ready to assemble the card. I actually stamped and fussy cut three tubs, towels and candles.
- I painted the champagne with Wink of Stella over the Daffodil Delight Light Blends marker. I also colored the bubbles with Wink of Stella.

By the way, from now through July 31st, only a few more days, when you purchase three Designer Series Paper packs you’ll get a fourth for FREE.
Don’t miss out on this 4 for the price of 3 Designer Series Paper offer. I must say that I purchased 4 of the 6″ x 6″ packets which are really useful! In the meantime, pull out the Martinelli’s, Prosecco or even the real bubbly, aka Champagne, sit back an either jump in the tub or at least light a candle in your stampin’ place and make one of these Bubbles & Bubbly cards. They’re fun. They’re cute and they’re sure to make someone smile.
