I have been a member of Sudsol: Simply Unique Demonstrators Sharing On Line, for over fifteen years. The online group offers support, answers questions and has become a social hub for me over the years.
It’s always fun to meet, face-to-face, the people with whom you chat on line at a Stampin’ Up! event. At On Stage Local in Phoenix last November a small group of nine of us gathered at lunch time to do what we love to do: SWAP cards. We make a designated number of card fronts (only the front of a card saving card stock for the real card that we’d send out) and then swap with each other.
As a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Sudsol is a fun way to get support when you’re in a stampin’ funk–like when you just can’t make a certain stamp look “just right”, perhaps your colors aren’t right. Be honest with me, haven’t you sometimes just known that something is off with your card? I know I have. And when I really want ‘it’ to work but it won’t, I’ll share my card with Sudsol members, welcoming their feedback. Usually it’s either an ‘aha’ or ‘duh’ moment when something small is pointed out.
All that said, if you’re a Stampin’ Up! demo and haven’t checked out Sudsol as a support group, give it a try. They offer a free 2 week trial period. www.Sudsol.org When given the opportunity, tell them Blythe sent you. 🙂
And now it’s back to transitioning my stampin’ studio to 2017: both the Occasions and Sale-a-Bration publications go live on the 4th. Do you have yours? Contact me if you don’t! blythe@stampingwithblythe.com
