I’ve been wanting to use this stamp set, Mixed Drinks, ever since I got it but I was kind of overwhelmed with all of the options and I just couldn’t get inspired. Then, all of a sudden, it was Christy’s 40th birthday. Perfect person. Perfect stamp set. Perfect fun for her card!
TIPS:
- I stamped the jar/glass using Basic Gray Archival Ink, then stamped the long straw using Flirty Flamingo classic ink. Then I re-stamped the straw on a sticky note, cut it out, layed it over the first straw (mask) and stamped the ‘juice’ in the glass. (This looks like a Margarita to me.)
- I used a piece of the Flirty Flamingo Heavy Baker’s Twine from the July Paper Pumpkin kit for the wrap-around tie on the card front. I separated about 5 strands from the length of twine.
