After making the sweet simple autumn pumpkin card at the Mi Wuk Library in September using the Happy Scenes photopolymer stamp set, I was determined to see if I could use either, or both, of the tree vignettes for a similar simple card.
Mission accomplished:
Vertical looks great. Confession: I used a ‘scrap’ of Whisper White card stock and decided it needed to be layered; hence the layer of Old Olive card stock between the white layers. Not quite so simple but still quick and easy.Horizontal also looks great.Sometimes simple is just sweet. The tree was stamped with Early Espresso, color wiped off with a q-tip from the birds and then the birds were colored with a Real Redmarker and filled in using a Blender Pen to pull the color.Little red birds, pine trees and pumpkins, all from one stamp set: Happy Scenes.
