MANY NEW FRAMELITS COMING OUR WAY

Yes, I have returned from Salt Lake City, my bags are unpacked (pretty much) and I’m settling back into my ‘normal routine’.  I’ve done lots of thinking about what I learned at Convention, what I saw, new products and more.

As you might know, attending demonstrators got a sneak peak of the upcoming 2015 Holiday Catalog.  Simply said:  WOW!  I was amazed by the number of coordinating framelits and thinlits offered with new stamp sets.  Talk about making our lives easier!!!  Of course, I’m one who loves these helpful tools.

Pam Morgan explained one bit of insider bit of information that we weren’t aware of.

Blythe Klipple and Pam Morgan
Moi and Pam Morgan on Day 1 of Stampin’ Up!’s 2015 convention.  Photo bomber???  Becky Roberts.  We had just picked up our convention bags.  You can see one on the shoulder of the gal just behind me.

Pam’s revelation:  You might notice that most sets that have accompanying framelits are made of photopolymer.  There is a reason for this.  When red rubber stamps are made the rubber does shrink a bit, making the ‘fit’ to the framelits not quite as accurate as you might desire.  However, due to the way the photopolymer stamps are made there is no shrinkage and therefore the ‘fit’ to the framelits is much more exact.  Woohoo!

Here are two of the new sets that have coordinating framelits or thinlits:

FESTIVE FIREPLACE:

Are you wondering “What’s the difference between framelits and thinlits ?  The framelits actually frame an image and cut it out.  The thinlits create a new image that coordinates with your stamp set.

What do you think about these new sets?  Personally I love scenes and the stories they can tell or at least hint of.

Tomorrow………another awesome release from the Holiday Catalog.  You’ll be able to order from this catalog on September 1st.  If you’d like to receive one from me, just send me an email and I’ll place you on my Holiday Catalog mailing list.  I just ask that you intend to order at least one item from the catalog through me.  If you already have (or are) a demonstrator, please request your catalog from that person.  Thanks for understanding.  🙂

See you tomorrow.  And thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day.  (I’m off to purchase some PVC pipe now for a fun project you’ll see in a week or so!)
