If you haven’t yet played with the Wink of Stella Glitter Pen, why not? OK, that was rather fresh of me! If you haven’t yet played with the Wink of Stella Glitter Pen, now’s the time to check it out. It’s so much bang for the buck.
While I was prepping for my Blythe’s Buffet yesterday I realized that I was using my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Pen on two different projects. Since I had a new one it was a no brainer that I would open it up and use it rather than have two stations needing the same tool.
So…..I opened the package and opened the pen and there was no shimmer flowing into the tip. Hmmmmm. And I couldn’t figure out (aka remember) how to get the shimmery liquid flowing. I quickly went to Stampin’ Up!’s You Tube Channel and checked it out.
- remove the cap
- remove the bottom
- important: remove the 1/8″ black ring from the barrel
- reattach the top to the bottom
- give it entire unit a little shake shake shake and perhaps a squeeze on the barrel, until the ink is flowing. Don’t let it ‘gush’ too much.
And now that the glimmer is flowing I can add some glitz to the dragonfly’s wings on card #5 for today’s buffet.
I’m just glad I didn’t try to get my new Glitter Pen flowing during my class!
You can get your very own Wink of Stella Glitter Pen, Clear or Gold, in my Stampin’ Up! online store. If you wouldn’t mind (unless you’re a demo), select me as your Demonstrator. You’ll love having this Glitter Pen available for adding that little pop of glitz when and where you want it.
