I spent a lovely “spring-eve” afternoon with my gals who were stamping at our local Mi Wuk Library the other day. We’ve been meeting on the third Thursday of every month since February 2004. It’s really a great gathering.
The theme for our March gathering was spring.
I’m not particularly proud of the banners on my prototypes above so they were changed once I got home.
This card is 4″ x 4″. I added some Crystal Effects to the tulips for some pizzazz. I did use my Blendabilities (Daffodil Delight and Old Olive) to color the tulips but you can use Stampin’ Write Markers and either a Blender Pen or Aqua Painter to get a very similar effect. Be sure to use a StazOn Jet Black ink pad if you use the markers and a Tuxedo Black Memento Ink pad if you use Blendabilities.
I promise a tutorial with the remaining specifics very soon. Even though this is a 4″ x 4″ card, it will fit in Stampin’ Up!’s Medium Whisper White envelopes and you won’t be charged extra postage for that square card.
