Coming Soon: Paper Pumpkin Playtime

Are you wondering what on earth Paper Pumpkin is?  Well, it’s a monthly subscription kit offered by Stampin’ Up!  If you don’t want to purchase stamp sets, inks, card stock and the like, but you do have at least a little urge to be creative, then Paper Pumpkin is for you.  And I’m ready to help you get going with it, in person or virtually.  (It’s time for me to join the virtual club!)

Here’s the information you’ll need to join in the fun.

Number ONE:  Every month is different.

Number TWO:  You never know what it’ll be until you receive it.  Although:  you’ll get a hint via a promo image.

Number THREE:  You must subscribe by the 10th of each month to get that month’s kit.  Mailing to subscribers starts on the 11th.

Number FOUR:  You can subscribe and prepay for 3, 6 or 12 months OR you can automatically pay on a monthly basis.  That’s what I’ve done since the inception of Paper Pumpkin around ten years ago.

Here’s the tease for December’s Paper Pumpkin Kit:

WHAT’S INSIDE?

Fun!  With each monthly Paper Pumpkin craft subscription box, receive a Stampin’ Up! ink spot, the appropriate color for the month’s kit.  With your first month’s kit you’ll also receive a clear acrylic block.  With each month’s kit you’ll receive a photopolymer stamp set that can go into your new collection.  There are usually fun embellishments of some kind.

GET CREATIVE EACH MONTH

Your first kit comes with that FREE, clear stamping block. The monthly box you receive contains all the materials you need to craft with ease, from adhesive to precut paper. All you need to do is follow the crafting instructions and assemble the pieces to create a Stampin’ Up! card or project. After you get going on a kit you can wander off and create your own projects.

ADD TO YOUR PERSONAL SUPPLY OF CRAFTING MATERIALS

The Paper Pumpkin subscription box also doubles as a stamp subscription box. Every month, as part of your subscription, you’ll receive a unique, decorative stamp set and at least one ink spot. The stamp sets are ideal for all types of crafting projects.  Also, an ink color is not repeated within a 12-month period, so you’ll quickly collect a variety of reusable stamps and ink spots.  If one of your ink spots should start to run dry (that happens when you use them a lot!) you can always order an ink refill through me.

YOU’LL LOVE YOUR MONTHLY CRAFTING EXPERIENCE

I’m going to offer a monthly Paper Pumpkin Playtime at my home in Boise ID (Avimor) for those who subscribe through me and live nearby.   Yes, we’ll be Covid compliant via masks and distancing.  Maximum of 4 playmates each month.  I’m also going to bite the big bullet and set up a Zoom date monthly.  Just be kind and gentle with me!  🙂  We’ll be able to share ideas and get the most out of our kits.  Paper Pumpkin Playtime will be starting in January, a very tentative date would be around the 20th of the month, allowing for everyone to receive their monthly kit.  Arrangements can/will be made for December’s Kit as well since we’ll want to get of projects made and mailed.  It sound like it’s going to be card based and who wouldn’t love to receive a bear hug in the mail rather than another piece of junk mail!?

Click here to subscribe.  Remember, it can be month by month, a 3, 6 0r 12 month subscription or just a one time kit.  Mine is simply a recurring month by month subscription and I have to go into the Paper Pumpkin site to select zero by the 10th of the month if I won’t be available for or not interested in a particular month.  I’ve often been sorry when I’ve passed up on a month but then, that’s just life.

FYI, November’s Kit was called Jolly Gingerbread and had instructions/photo samples and supplies for making full cards, gift tags, and gift card holders.  Here’s what I made:

November 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit - Jolly Gingerbread
10 Gift card holders, a whole bunch of gift tags, 9 full sized cards (envelopes or card stock for cards not provided) and I colored here and there with my own Stampin’ Markers and Stampin’ Blends. It was a fun playday for sure!  I also lurked on Pinterest and a few Paper Pumpkin sites for inspiration.  The “Peppermint Candy” embellishments were really cute.   Psssssst……I  have two extra November Gingerbread kits ready for Playtime if you’re interested.  First come first served.

Are you ready to start collecting a few stamp sets and ink spots while having some creative fun?  Then be sure to click here to sign up for the delivery of your choice.  Is there someone you’d like to “gift” a subscription to?  I know several moms and daughters, or sisters or friends who get on the phone or FaceTime to put their kits together.  Let me know what interests you.
