Yes, I said Holiday Card. A pop-up holiday card. On April 25th I attended an all day virtual stamping retreat. Oh my! If you can’t get together to stamp as a group, doing a virtual online retreat/learning experience is amazing. No, (or yes?) I hardly had a chance to breathe all day long. The retreat started at 8 a.m. my time and the last demonstration/class/project was at 9 p.m. The day FLEW by!
For the next 11 posts I’ll be sharing the various projects we undertook. Some will be cards, some will be 3-D. All will be fun!
Our first card was shown as a Pop Up Bouquet of Flowers. Since we used whatever stamps and colors of card stock and accessories we had on hand at home, I chose to make mine as a Pop Up Christmas Gift Card Holder.
Re the gift card the in the below….. Whenever I can, I shamelessly promote the Boise Pie Company which is owned by a ‘kid’ I’ve know since he was in diapers–and his wife. Kevin and Kerry. If you’re looking for great homemade, no nonsense pies or creative sandwiches or yummy main course meals (take out or eat in again now that social isolation is loosening) when in Boise, Idaho, please google the Boise Pie Co and have a taste of homemade and heart made goodness. You can definitely say you heard about them from me. I don’t get points. Just hugs. 🙂
Finally, here’s the card front:
A tutorial for this card will accompany other tutorials in a few weeks. I’m still inundated with moving from California to Idaho, finalizing the sale of a home in the California mountains, finding new providers (like doctors, dentists and vets) and getting my stamping business off the ground here. So much to do and so fast fly the days! Factor Covid-19 and self-isolating into that equation. I must say, I’m not experiencing alllllllll that free time you might think I’d have when self-isolating. It’s crazy. But……I still love my stamping, my stampers and my stamping opportunities. I just need to get it all lined up again and find a pattern in my life.
In the meantime, if you’re ready to go shopping for anything related to today’s project (so you’ll be ready to go when the tutorial is in your hands) and you don’t have a demonstrator with whom you work, please hop on over to my online Stampin’ Up! store here, click on SHOP NOW and sign in or create an account with MOI as your demonstrator. I’m always close-by to answer any question you may have. And I don’t nag you or pass out your personal email address. Thank you so much for supporting this small business owner
