Now really, how could I use the fun Crafting Forever stamp set and not put the best image of all on my card?! Today’s card shows another aspect of this fun stamp set: Crafting Forever, Housework Whenever. You just have to keep everything in perspective.
I’m not sure what to call this call except maybe a flip card? Flip the flap, or lift the flap and you’ll have a little greeting inside. Then you can open the entire card to see the rest of the message.
It’s kind of hard to believe that the card below is made from the same stamp set as yesterday’s card. But it is. It simply uses more of the images plus some artsy crafty Designer Series Paper and some imagination.
When I use Designer Series Paper I always flip the package over to see just which colors have been used in the pack. They’re always listed and that makes a stamper’s life much easier!
The basic colors I used for my card were Whisper White, Flirty Flamingo and Sahara Sand.
I wanted to use two of the main stamped greetings from the Crafting Forever stamp set so decided to create a little flip-up flap to hide (and expose) one of them:
For this oval layer I used White Glossy card stock, the Big Shot, Stitched Shapes Framelits and Brusho Crystal Colour, aka Brusho, a new to Stampin’ Up!’s 2018 Occasions Catalog.
The final greeting, inside the card, was stamped with Emerald Envy Classic Ink.
This was one of the first stamp sets that I acquired from the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog and I haven’t used it as much as I planned. It feels great to finally have brought it out from the darkness of the storage cabinet. My next project will be some Just a Note note cards using the fountain pens in another scenario. And in the meantime I’ll try to keep my motto true: Crafting Forever, housework whenever.
