Open House Day Has Arrived

And it’s raining.  OK, it’s sprinkling.  And it’s only 7.30 a.m. right now.  I’m seeing breaks in the clouds but……..it never rains in California in September!  (There’s a Beach Boys tune in there somewhere.)  Fortunately my tables are both under an ‘easy up’ tent and the rest is inside my County Loft stampin’ studio.

Rain or shine, the open house has gone just fine.  Stamp sets, punches, Simply Created Kits, retired Designer Series Papers.  Even a cool hand-made Heat Tool holder.  Many of my items have found new homes and what is remaining will be going to Habitat for Humanity’s thrift store and hopefully the senior center, local disabled adults facility and a few schools as well.  Now it’s up to me to make those contacts.

Thank you to those who came.  And thank you for the rain–we need it desperately.  It smells wonderful!

Seeking shelter from the rain

It was a very good day………
