There’s something wonderful (insert any adjective you want: special, enchanting, etc.) about waking up to beautiful sunshine on the first day of May.
For me, this will be a month of celebration (lots of birthdays) and the new (new carpets after 40 years of the same carpet in our home–sneeze sneeze). And spring cleaning. New carpets = deep cleaning since nearly everything has to be removed from 3 major living rooms and 2 stairwell ‘landing’ areas. But it’s going to be so totally worth it.
It’s also time to make room for the new in my stampin’ studio. The 2015-2016 Annual Catalog retires on the 31st of May so I’ll slowly pull out retiring stamp sets and accessories throughout this month. There will be a special place for those that I really can’t part with. One nice thing about not being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is that you won’t have to go through this ritual of culling the retiring to make room for the fresh and new. But as a demonstrator I just can’t use those retiring products after May 31st except for special non-class times. It’s kind of mean to use something awesome that’s retired in a class, have my students fall in love with it and have to say, “oh, I’m sorry, it’s not available any more!”.
The easiest way to see what is retiring is to click on Retiring Stamps or Retiring Everything Else. Many items from each category are discounted. If you don’t see a retiring item in either of these lists that means the supply is exhausted and it’s no longer available.
Here’s the link to a pdf that is updated daily (except Saturday and Sunday I’m sure) that will give you an overview of what’s discounted and what’s no longer available.
All that said, if there are some stamps or accessories that you’ve been waffling on from the 2015-2016 catalog, get ’em now! Once they’re out of stock they won’t be available. Stampin’ Up! will continue to produce the stamp sets until the middle of May but once those run out of stock they’ll be gone.
I can help you with your orders or with questions. Just send me an email: Email me You can also place your own orders via my Stampin’ Up! store here. Remember, if an item comes up as a no show, unavailable, can’t order at this time that’s because it’s out of stock.
Have a great first day of May. Maybe hum a little tune from Camelot……..It’s May, it’s May, the merry month of May………
