Today the 2018-2019 Catalog Retiring Products List is out and it’s time to catch up with my blog posting. I’ve been gone for five days and it feels like forEVER! I’ve been at Stampin’ Up!’s “On Stage Local” one-day ‘convention’ in Salt Lake City. For me, it takes an overnight stay in the San Francisco Bay Area (Thursday) which is 2 hours from home, a stand-by flight from San Francisco Airport to Salt Lake City (Friday), the event on Friday evening for me and then all day Saturday, back to Salt Lake City Airport for my stand-by flight on Sunday…….and then it all fell apart. I didn’t get on the first two flights and wasn’t going to have any luck the rest of the day (weather in the mid-west mucked up all kinds of flights) so I finally decided to rent a car and drive to Boise, ID (4.5 hours) where my daughter and her family live. It was a surprise treat for all of us. They have a great ‘hotel’, the airport is smaller, convenient and user friendly and I got out first thing today, Monday. After a three hour drive home I am finally able to sit in front of my computer and catch up with some blogging. I just can’t manage to do it when I’m away, no matter how good my intentions are.
That said……today the List of Retiring Products from the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog and the 2019 Occasions catalog was published.

Here are a few tips about the retiring products…….
- Due to high demand for retiring stamp sets, these items will have guaranteed availability until May 24; all other products are not guaranteed and are available while supplies last only.
- If there is a product you want, I recommend buying it right away and not waiting to see if it’s discounted later or risk it being sold out.
- You can search my online store to see which retiring items are still available; items that have been discontinued will not appear.
- The 2017-2019 In Color products will probably sell out quickly, so don’t hesitate to get the products you’ll want have on hand: card stock, ink refills, buttons and bows (or ribbons).
Among the many retiring stamp sets, my all-time, well used, favorite stamp set is on the list after many many years in the catalog. Lovely as a Tree.
Needless to say, I’ll be keeping and using my set for personal cards and projects.
Remember, more good things will be coming in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog but that won’t be until June 4th. Let’s continue to have fun with the current catalogs…. the annual and occasion. They’re full of lots of fun stamps and embellishments.
Tomorrow………some highlights from my On Stage experience in Salt Lake City. And some lovely swapped card samples.
