Isn’t this just the coolest ornament. I received it from Cindy McCool at the Catalog Preview Event in Dublin CA last week. I haven’t made one yet so I can’t quite tell you how to make it. I’m hoping to attempt a few this afternoon. We’ll see how my days goes and if I actually get around to making them. (I am swamped with ‘to-dos’. Are you!???)
On this ornament the sky probably uses Brocade Blue card stock which is retired. I’d substitute it with Marina Mist card stock.
Another product used is Stampin’ Up!‘s retired Mica Flakes. I’m sure you can find a substitute in a craft store. ARGH! Did I say that? Well, if Stampin’ Up! doesn’t sell it, that’s pretty much where we have to go isn’t it?

I love my ornament and hope you try one too. Yes, I have some on hand, ready to use, and I got them at Hobby Lobby in Dublin CA. I also purchased them over two months ago. Please share with us if you make one or two or if you’ve already made some. Ideas are great. I plan on making photo ornaments, one for each of my grandchildren and one for my sweetie and me in our Alaska waders when we “shot the Mendenhall” River. That’s our greatest memory/trip of 2014.
I’ll see you tomorrow with some more creativity. Thanks for stopping by today. And……have a great day. We got some overnight snow from the “biggest storm in 5-6 years” in our area. It totally missed our county yesterday — so anti-climatic — and that includes Yosemite National Park.
