Valentines Painted with Love

Yesterday I got “going crazy” in my stampin’ studio as I started making some Valentines Painted with Love.  The painted with love part was the use of the bright and splashy Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper found in the 2018 Occasions Catalog.  I have to confess that it took me quite a while to warm up to it.  But once I did I was hooked.

And…….better late than never, I discovered this completed post with Valentine ideas, ready to be posted, five days after Valentine’s Day!  Argh!  Hopefully, you’ll adapt these ideas to different colors and Designer Series Papers.

It’s really fun using those Narrow Note Cards & Envelopes for decorating, adding a message and then slipping inside the Lots to Love box.

These little Valentine boxes and cards will be mailed to my grandchildren in a few days.  Each little Valentine card will be placed in the Lots to Love Framelits Dies box.  (Yes, they received their boxes!)  This little box is sooooo cute!  And sturdy.  The darned thing is addictive!

The main ingredients used for these projects:

Don’t forget about the bundles for saving 10% on the Sure Do Love you stamp set and Lots to Love Framelits Dies:

Using the box die, cut two pieces of cardstock or designer paper.  I was stuck before I even got started because I didn’t know how to assemble the two die cut pieces that I knew were the box.  By the way, the Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper is quite heavy and strong and is perfect for the boxes.

Crease folds and attach Tear & Tape:

This is how I hold my roll of Tear & Tape for convenience when tearing. (This example is obviously from a different box!)

Attach front and back pieces to each other.

Here are a few more combinations:

Valentines painted with love - 1

Valentines painted with love - 3

Valentines painted with love - 4

Valentines painted with love - 4 gift boxes

Valentines painted with love - 4 gift boxes + Valentine

When you realize how easy the boxes are to die cut and then assemble, you’ll catch the same addiction I got.
