One of my students, Sharon, came over to my stampin’ studio today after seeing some Halloween Fry Boxes while attending one of my three months of Christmas stamp-a-stacks. She wanted to make some of these candy boxes for her Thanksgiving table.
These are what she saw:
And these are what Sharon made today:
What a fun and easy project. Below are the supplies you’ll need to make some for yourself. We also used the Tangerine Tango Thick Baker’s Twine left over from 2015’s Sale-a-Bration. Be sure to use a very strong adhesive such as Tear & Tape when securing the sides of the Fry Box.
TIP: Place the Tear & Tape adhesive on the inside of the front (smaller piece) of the box and the outside of the back side of the box. Then overlap the layers, keeping the bottom lines parallel on the sides and burnish (rub) the overlapping seal to ensure it is secure.
