Yes, new catalog, new week! Sometimes life just runs away with you and today I’m back at my desk. Stampin’ Up! has a new catalog (wowsers) and it’s a new week. I hope to take charge once again.
When a new catalog is released it’s time for lots of change here in my stamping space. Flow of thought IDEA: Let’s have a contest for a NAME for my STAMPING SPACE!!! There will be a prize of some sort for the winner. I stole a bedroom when we moved into our new home in Boise Idaho just over three years ago. And I’ve called this room ‘my stamping space’, ‘my stamp room’……but it really deserves something that has a bit more pizzazz. Please leave comments below with your suggestions. I’ll close the “contest” in two weeks from today, May 21st.
Back to stamping business……preparing a dedicated stamping space for a new catalog with its new products. This time ’round our new catalog has also encompassed a color refresh. That means that some regular colors are g-o-n-e and new colors are taking their places. This hasn’t happened for about eight years. If you aren’t a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator it may not be such a big deal but for me, yikes! I’ve had to pull retired color items (card stock, ink, markers, stampin’ blends), stamp sets and supplies. But many I still love! Where to put them! Then in come the new products: card stock, ink, markers, stampin’ blends and more. I’m rather fussy with how I store my products so this takes a bunch of time. And I like labels on everything. More time. But I want to play–I mean stamp and prep for classes–in the middle of the chaos. Definitely crazy time, especially when you’re a one-man-show. Hence I’m way behind on posting and communicating with you. So sorry.

What do you think about the new colors, colors that have been retired, and…….the new 23-25 In Colors. They’re so different from some past In Colors but they’re also right on trend if you check out the colors of cars, furniture, clothing etc.
