When I went to Europe in November for Stampin’ Up!’s On Stage event I took advantage of Project Life’s App (free in the app store) for phones and tablets. Each night I took my day’s photos and placed the most memorable ones on scrapbook pages using my iPad Mini. When I got home after three weeks I double checked my photos and in-progress pages, approved them (to myself) and sent them off to Becky Higgins for 12″ x 12″ printing. I also printed 8″ x 8″ pages for my hosts while in France and Germany and a few pages for my roommate in Brussels.
Now I very easily could have printed my photos when I got home and then used any one or more of Stampin’ Up!’s Project Life’s Card Collections and Accessory Packs.
- This is the Life Card Collection and Accessory Pack
- Happy Times Card Collection and Accessory Pack
- Moments Like These Card Collection and Accessory Pack
- Let’s Get Away Card Collection and Accessory Pack
Any or all of these would have been so much fun to intermingle with my photos. But for expediency while on my trip I chose to use the App. I also knew I was coming home to the crazy holiday period of Thanksgiving and Christmas without even a chance for my sometimes procrastination mode. The feat was already accomplished! I think it’s made me all the more ready to go for doing the actual cards and pockets for future ‘at home’ opportunities though.
For now though, here’s a good look at what can be done quickly with Project Life layouts be they digital or hands on with photos and cards/accessories.
Be watching for different layouts which can also be done with the various packs of Project Life Pocket Pages (page 145 in SU!’s Annual Catalog).
Bear in mind, every night before turning out my light I would ‘scrap’ the day’s events. Good discipline!
Are you noticing the various layouts? There is even more variety with the Project Life by Stampin’ Up! photo pockets.
I hope you have observed the variety of layouts that I used and the way I intermingled photos with journaling and filler cards. It is really so quick and easy. TIP: Keep the cards on each page color coordinated if you use more than one card.

Great idea! Wish I had done that on our trip in September … It is still waiting to be done.,,, 😂
Hmmmm. How can you remedy that even today? It’s quick, effieicent, expedient and easy. AND FUN!
