When I cleaned, very thoroughly I should add, my stampin’ studio in July/August one of the treasures I came upon was this calendar from 1996. It was the year I joined Stampin’ Up! and I believe they made calendars for about 3 years.
It looks as if ‘gold’ was popular back then. And heat embossing. Do you remember stamping on candles? That ‘peace joy love’ stamp set that we all just loved? Stamping on tissue paper?
Here’s a lovely quote at the bottom on the page, quite appropriate for the holiday season:
Not what we give, but what we share,
For the gift without the giver is bare.
~~James Russell Lowell~~
Are you hand making gifts this year? If so, what are you making? I must admit that I’m wa-a-a-y behind the curve this year and know that so far I’ve “only” made the gift of hand made Christmas cards. With love.
