I finally arrived HOME today after a wonderful experience at Stampin’ Up!’s Convention. Tomorrow I attack the swap cards and Memento Mall items—as well as the goodies Stampin’ Up! blessed attendees with.
Until I have that energy, I want to share a few of my favorite cards and moments.
Look what was on the Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator website today (or maybe yesterday):
I sat with Coleen Astalos (in red), from Sudsol, for our Make & Takes. These are her downline, whom she hadn’t met face to face before convention, from Virginia. They feared she was going to be a fuddy-duddy—which she certainly isn’t!
I don’t know who the troup was (were?) but they were great as they introduced this year’s Convention Theme Song.

Above: “Sandwich” was happy to be stuffed into my Convention bag when he (she?) was invited to attend one of our General Sessions.
Below are terrible pictures of the soon-to-be-released Simply Scored scoring device. It looks so cool! My camera was misbehaving so I couldn’t get a good photo but come back soon and I’ll be telling you all about it. I’ve heard that it is awesome and includes all the best features of those out on the market and more. The scoring grooves are every 1/8″ inch and there are little markers to position where you want to score if you have a larger project (like many sets) to prepare.
Finally, photos taken with good friends and special friends. Pam Morgan, below, is sporting her bee-bonnet for the Wednesday evening Garden Party. We meet someplace every year for our annual photo which is a cherished tradition for me.
And then I got to spend a few minutes with Shelli (Gardner), our (Stampin’ Up!’s) fearless leader. We talked about hair! Her first words to me were “I LOVE your hair” and then the conversation continued with her confessing that she’s letting her’s grow out. Then just some warm chit chat. 🙂
Another upcoming product:
How’s this for ‘out of the box’!? Stampin’ Up! Cookie Presses !!! Christmas/Winter, Valentine’s Day, Halloween. Details to follow as it is released. When I get mine on a demonstrator pre-order you can be sure I’ll be making some test cookies.
How could you get Stampin’ Up! Cookie Presses before the crowd? Become a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator (on my team of course) and you too can pre-order from the upcoming Holiday Mini Catalog which will be released in September. In the meantime, I’m still enjoying the Summer Mini!
