I’m trying my best this year to send cards to my friends on their birthdays rather than just ‘touching’ them on their special day on FaceBook! I’ll be mailing this card out later this morning:
I’ve used this stamp set, Birthday Blossoms, more than once lately and the main reason is the greeting. I think it’s so graceful and gently elegant.
Fun bit #2: the large flower image has a coordinating punch, Pansy Punch. What could be better when it comes time to layering a few flowers!?
I used the Blender Pen to pull the ink from the stamped images to give a very light coloring. You don’t want to go over and over the flower image because it will begin to dig into the card stock. Not a pretty effect! For the leaves I did take some color from the lid of the Pear Pizzazz stamp pad with the Blender Pen.

Don’t sit back and let your special friend’s birthday roll by with sending her/him their own special birthday greeting. (Do as I suggest, not as I sometimes do.) Go on…….make that card NOW, put it in in hand stamped envelope, address it, add that postage stamp and get it to the post office or your mail box. My two cards (yip!) are ready to go out to our post office within the hour.
