One of my UK friends, Michelle Last, posted a color challenge over the weekend as a part of the Global Design Project.
What would you do? Here’s my attempt, modifying a card by Paula Dobson, a demonstrator from New Zealand who also participated in this design challenge. I’m going to a funeral next week and her card basics were going to work for me. However, I made a little mess in the upper center of my card (go ahead look for it!) that I needed to remedy. Remember, “there are no mistakes in stamping” and I was going to be sure there weren’t.
The thick Baker’s Twine I used is retired and I’m pretty sure it’s Coastal Cabana but it sure matches good enough for my card!
TIP: I laid two strips, about 2″ each, of the Gold Metallic Glitter Tape from Sale-a-Bration on a piece of computer paper. Then I punched out two Bitty Butterflies, attached a Mini Glue Dot to the back of each and covered up my two messes. Whew!
I gently decorated the inside of the card as well. Sorry about my comments already being on the card but I forgot to take my photo before writing and I just didn’t want to do it all over again.
