Swirly Bird Fun at the Mi Wuk Library

I love stamping with my friends at the Mi Wuk Village Little Library in the Woods.  Have I told you before that the library was once a fire station?  When we had an all volunteer fire department one or two fire trucks were housed in Mi Wuk and the other truck was housed about 3 miles away in the adjacent ‘town’ of Sugar Pine.  The fire department finally was able to purchase what had been a hardware store, the (former county) library invaded the Mi Wuk property and a man with a long, long trailer purchased the Sugar Pine property.  Yes, life is fun in a small mountain town.

Yesterday we had some fun with the Swirly Bird stamp set and the coordinating Swirly Scribbles Thinlits Dies.  By the way, these two items are available as a 10% off bundle.

I shamelessly c.a.s.e.d (copy and share everything) the card on page 152 of the new SU! 2016-2017 Annual Catalog*.

Supplies Used:

Jeanne's finished card
I changed the too dull (for this card) Pear Pizzazz leaves to Old Olive leaves which make a much better contrast.

I neglected to take photos of anyone else’s card since we were having so much fun!  If you’re ever in the Mi Wuk Village area (about 15 miles northeast) of Sonora, CA, drive on up the hill and join us.  No reservations.  No experience needed.  All supplies provided.  $3 fee for 2 cards plus envelopes.  Look forward to a good time.
